Monaco Grand Prix 2027

No race on the Formula 1 calendar is quite like the Monaco Grand Prix. Once a year, for one weekend, the streets of the Principality become a circuit: the cars sweep past the Casino, plunge into the tunnel and race along the harbour, a few metres from the yachts.

The Monaco Grand Prix 2027 runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June, and for the first time in its history it will be a Sprint weekend. Whether you are here to watch, to host guests or to work, we handle every journey, from the moment you land to the moment you leave.

What to expect

Monaco is widely regarded as the most prestigious race on the calendar, and one of the most demanding: narrow streets, almost no room to overtake and unforgiving barriers.

In 2027 the format changes. For the first time, Monaco will host a Sprint: a short race of around 100 km on Saturday, with its own qualifying session on Friday. The Grand Prix itself follows on Sunday.

Friday brings a single practice session and Sprint qualifying; Saturday, the Sprint followed by Grand Prix qualifying; Sunday, the race itself. Formula 1 has not yet published the session times; we will add them here as soon as they are announced.

When and where

The Grand Prix takes place on the Circuit de Monaco, in the heart of the Principality, from 4 to 6 June 2027.

Monaco covers just over two square kilometres, and over the race weekend part of its road network is closed to traffic. Access routes change from one day to the next, so our chauffeurs plan every journey in advance.

How we organise your weekend

Arrival. Most visitors fly into Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. Your chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you straight to your hotel. During race week the roads are busier than usual, so we always build in extra time. Arriving by helicopter? We will be waiting for you at the Monaco Heliport in Fontvieille.

During the weekend. A dedicated chauffeur, by the hour or by the day, who plans each route around the road closures. For groups, we provide minibuses and coaches from 19 to 55 seats.

Departure. On Sunday evening, everyone leaves the Principality at once. We time each transfer to your flight or train and plan the route around the post-race traffic.

Watching from the water

For many guests, the best seat at the Monaco Grand Prix is on a yacht. Moored in Port Hercule, it becomes your private base for the weekend, with the circuit running along the quayside and hospitality on board.

Through CME Yacht, the group's charter company, we can arrange a yacht for the race weekend and secure a mooring where availability allows, with crew, catering and chauffeur transfers timed around the sessions. Moorings are scarce that weekend and are reserved early, so it is best to plan several months ahead.

The evenings

When the track goes quiet, the weekend moves on: hotel terraces, rooftops, parties aboard the yachts and the gala dinners of the Société des Bains de Mer. We take you from one to the next and back to your hotel, whatever the hour.

Frequently asked questions

When is the Monaco Grand Prix 2027?

From Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027, with the race on Sunday 6 June. It will be the first Sprint weekend in the history of the Monaco Grand Prix. Formula 1 has not yet announced the session times.

How long does it take from Nice Airport to Monaco?

The journey is about 30 km by motorway and usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. In race week, traffic is heavier, so we allow extra time, track your flight and adjust the pick-up if you land early or late.

Can you drop us at the circuit entrance?

The roads around the circuit are closed to traffic on track days, so the drop-off point depends on the day and on where your grandstand or hospitality suite is. Tell us in advance and we will plan the nearest authorised point.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as your dates and hotel are confirmed. The Grand Prix is one of our busiest weekends of the year, so a chauffeur for the whole weekend or a coach for a group should be booked several weeks ahead. A single airport transfer can be added later, but availability on race weekend is limited.
