The Jumping International de Monte-Carlo is Monaco's international show-jumping event and its leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT). It is a five-star competition (CSI5*), the top level of the sport, ridden in an arena built on Port Hercule, right in the harbour.
The 2026 edition, the 20th in the Principality, ran from 2 to 4 July. The organisers have announced a 2027 edition but not yet its dates; we'll publish them here as soon as they are out. Whatever the dates, we take care of getting you here, to the arena and home again.
What you'll see
Three days of show jumping at the highest level. The highlight is the LGCT Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco, held on the Saturday evening in recent editions, with the yachts of the harbour as a backdrop. Alongside it run the Global Champions League (a team competition) and the Longines Pro-Am Cup, created by Charlotte Casiraghi in 2010 and sponsored by her ever since.
In 2026, 58 international riders took part, and 40 of the world's best horse-and-rider pairs started the Grand Prix. Stephan de Freitas Barcha won it on Dinozo Imperio Egipcio.
Tickets are sold in advance: grandstand, premium grandstand and business seats, VIP boxes with tables for four to eight, and a restaurant. In 2026, hospitality guests were welcomed from 6 pm, with dinner served around 8 pm.
When and where
In 2026 the arena was set up in the middle of Port Hercule and the competition ran from Thursday to Saturday.
Building the arena takes weeks, and traffic around the port changes for the occasion. In 2026, buses and coaches were barred from the Quai des États-Unis, the Route de la Piscine and part of Avenue J.F. Kennedy from 19 June to 10 July, and parking on the Esplanade des Pêcheurs was suspended during the event week. A driver who knows the closures makes all the difference.
How we organise it for you
Arrival. Your chauffeur follows your flight into Nice Côte d'Azur, meets you in the arrivals hall and drives you to your hotel in Monaco, a journey of about 30 km that usually takes 30 to 45 minutes.
During the event. Each day we drop you as close to your entrance as the closures allow and come back for you after the last round. For a company with a VIP table or a group of guests, minibuses and coaches bring everyone from their hotels to the port and back, timed to when the hospitality lounges open and the end of the Grand Prix.
On the water. Spend the day at sea before the evening's competition: CME Yacht, the group's yacht charter company, can take you along the coast.
Departure. When the competition ends, we take you back to the airport, the station or the heliport, in time for your flight or train.
Frequently asked questions
When is the Jumping International de Monte-Carlo (LGCT Monaco) 2027?
The organisers have not announced the 2027 dates yet. The 2026 edition ran from 2 to 4 July on Port Hercule. We'll update this page as soon as the dates are published.
How long does it take from Nice Airport to Port Hercule?
Usually 30 to 45 minutes by motorway, a distance of about 30 km. We follow your flight and adjust the pick-up if you land early or late.
Can I be dropped close to the arena?
Yes, as close as the road closures allow. Several roads around the port are closed to coaches during the event, so we plan drop-off and pick-up points in advance and share them with you and your guests.
Can you organise transport for a group or a VIP table?
Yes. We use Mercedes V-Class vans for up to seven passengers, 19-seat minibuses and coaches of up to 55 seats, timed to when the hospitality lounges open and the end of the Grand Prix. Book as soon as your table is confirmed.
